As a Social Outreach Intern, you will be part of the Social Team and involved in both social 360° planning and execution, with a specific focus on content direction and outreach execution across external social platforms.
This role requires a strong sense of social content, trends, and platform behaviours to help shape how OPPO content is adapted and distributed through communities, pages, and creators.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in social 360° planning, contributing ideas and perspectives on content direction for social outreach
- Support the development of outreach content directions, including:
- Defining content angles and formats suitable for communities, pages, and creators
- Advising how core brand messages should be adapted for different social environments
- Coordinate with communities, fanpages, groups, page admins, and creators to deploy outreach content
- Monitor social trends, cultural moments, and online conversations to refine content direction and outreach approaches
- Support content creation, adaptation, and publishing for owned channels (OPPO Fanpage)
- Manage discussion flow and interactions related to outreach content
- Track performance metrics and provide insights to improve future outreach planning
- Collaborate closely with content, social, and digital teams to ensure alignment across channels

Requirements
- 3rd–4th year student or fresh graduate in Marketing, Communications, PR, Media, or related fields
- Strong interest in social content strategy and content direction, not only execution
- Good understanding of social platforms, communities, and creator ecosystems
- Strong sense of trends, formats, and storytelling on social media
- Ability to think in content angles, hooks, and platform-first storytelling
- Solid writing skills and attention to tone, context, and audience
- Proactive, organized, and eager to learn
Personality & Nice-to-Haves
- Young, energetic, and highly engaged with social culture
- Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and online communities
- Passionate about trends, content creation, and digital storytelling
- Interest in outdoor activities, lifestyle experiences, or event participation is a plus
- Experience managing personal pages, groups, or content projects is a strong advantage
